Knoch High School student Marina Smith is the first student in the school district’s history to be accepted into the All-National Ensembles for concert band.
Marina, who was notified of the honor in July, plays string bass.
She submitted an audition video in May.
All-National Honor Ensembles will be held from Nov. 3 through 6 in National Harbor, Md.
Marina is the daughter of Todd and Amy Smith of Penn Township.
