Friends, our candidate Dan Pastore of Erie appeared in Butler last week to forward his candidacy for the seat in Congress you will be voting for in a few weeks.

Dan calls himself a different kind of Democrat. He is a talented businessman and lawyer. Dan was an accomplished carpenter by the time he finished college; he worked in the family building business then.

Dan graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Law School, practiced law and has established more than one business in the past 30 years.

He is the founder and chairperson of Fish USA, a retail online marketing enterprise — one of the largest of its kind in the U.S. — that employs 65 people with good jobs.

Dan will work to mend the separation between political people and members of Congress. His speaking shines upon his values as a Western Pennsylvanian. He is good for the nation, the region and for those of us who work and live here.
