Thank you
The 100-plus attendees at Butler County Remembers, the Overdose Awareness Day event on Aug. 31, were privileged to witness hope and beauty during stories of loved ones lost and of people’s own recovery journeys.
The names and messages written by family and friends on the leaves of a painted tree and pictures of loved ones brought people together in their pain and healing, while purple ribbons hung by Main Street businesses offered a sentiment of community support.
The list of people who made the evening possible is too long to include, but the Butler County Opioid Overdose Coalition felt compelled to offer a special thank you to family and friends and those forging their own recovery journey for sharing with us and bringing us together during such a meaningful evening. Your courage and vulnerability are deeply admired!
Sincerely,
Members of the Butler County Opioid Overdose Coalition
