Thomas Sheptak scored three goals and added an assist Saturday as Butler’s boys soccer team shut out Knoch, 5-0.

Nick Niebauer and Garrick Lapusnak also scored for the Golden Tornado. Cody Lubinsky, Lawson Neigh and Jacob Llewellyn had assists. Drew Knight had the shutout in goal.

Girls Soccer

McKenna Martin scored three goals for Karns City in the Gremlins’ 7-2 win over Grove City.

Lyrik Reed added two goals while Emma Dailey and Hanna Dailey both had a goal and two assists for KC. Sarah Dodd contributed two assists, CeCe Morrow one.

Karns City plays Monday at DuBois.

Girls Volleyball

Knoch took first place in its pool at the Moon Tournament and won its first playoff game before losing to Shenango in the quarterfinals.

The Knights’ Sierra Mock was named to the all-tournament team.
