Pictured is the intersection of Virginia Lane and Sunset Drive. The residents at this corner property have decided at this time to close this road off to the entrance of the long-established Baxter mobile home park.

As far as I know, this has been an entrance to this park for 50 years or more. With the closure of this road, residents must exit on to Jamesonville Road to Mahood Road. Exiting Jamesonville onto Mahood is quite precarious, as traffic comes over the crest of Mahood toward Sunset very fast.

Also, within the park, this entrance and exit is quite steep when circling the park and would cause problems for the residents during the winter months. Also, what is wrong with this picture? The emergency fire hydrant would now be on the outside of the park, inconvenient for the fire department.
