Mobile unit to offer COVID testing at BC3
A community health center will again offer free COVID-19 tests this fall and winter at Butler County Community College’s main campus.
Primary Health Network of Sharon will administer PCR nasal-swab tests from its mobile unit as a drive-up clinic on designated dates in BC3’s Parking Lot 5. Results of tests could take one to three business days.
People seeking a COVID-19 test from Primary Health Network are required to be evaluated through a telehealth appointment with one of the health center’s providers. Those who meet criteria for a COVID-19 test will be scheduled for an appointment.
Go to bc3.edu/covid for information on testing and scheduling. The only cost to patients is for the initial telehealth evaluation, according to a news release. The community health center accepts all patients, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
