Sam Miller struck for four goals Saturday as Butler’s girls soccer team rolled to a 7-1 non-section win over Cathedral Prep.

Leah Weiland added a pair of goals for the Golden Tornado while Leah Deal scored one. Butler travels to North Allegheny on Wednesday.

Butler placed third in its home Spikefest Tournament on Saturday.

Ava Plunkard tallied 48 assists, six kills, 15 digs, six blocks and three aces on the day for the Golden Tornado. Kaela Malis added 12 kills, two aces, two blocks and 10 digs.

Audrey Lehman had 12 kills, two aces, five blocks and 10 digs while Hannah Fertig contributed eight kills, four aces, a block and 13 digs. Butler hosts Fox Chapel Tuesday night.
