Morrison

William John Morrison, 94, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 23, 1928, in Pittsburgh, and was the son of the late Eleanor (Endres) Martin.

Bill was in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Navy, and a member of West Sunbury American Legion Post 243 and the Moose 64.

He had worked for the borough of Edgewood as a communications operator for the fire and police departments, and had worked at the Butler County Prison.

Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Martha (Wiles) Morrison; a son, Keith D. Morrison of Haymarket, Va.; a stepson, Samuel D. Lynn of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren; and a brother, Jay Martin of Butler.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Oscar Martin; and his mother.

MORRISON — Visitation for William John Morrison, who died Tuesday, June 28, 2022, will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., Butler.

Military honors will be held at the burial at 11:15 a.m. Saturday at Greenlawn Burial Estates.
