Morris 50th anniversary
Pat “Sonny” and Helen Morris Jr. of Prospect celebrated 50 years of marriage June 4 with a family dinner at the Log Cabin Inn in Harmony.
Morris married the former Helen Ragan on June 3, 1972, at St. Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Prospect.
They have two children, Carrie Whitmer of Butler and Troy Morris of Volant.
They also have three grandchildren.
Morris started the family trucking business in 1972 and has been driving trucks for more than 50 years.
He enjoys refurbishing old Mack trucks and spending time with his family.
She retired from secretarial jobs.
She enjoys scrapbooking, travel and spending time with her family.
The Morrises are members of St. Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Prospect, now known as St. Faustina Parish.
