Veronica Sue Morrow, 65, of Emlenton, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022.

Veronica was born on Dec.15, 1956, as the daughter of Arthur D. Sankey and Helen (Logut) Sankey.

She was a 1974 graduate of Moniteau Junior-Senior High School. She made her living working at Banks Market and as a medical secretary for Dr. David Rothman, M.D. Most recently, she worked as a bookkeeper for her partner, Robert Hanold’s, business. She loved gardening, puzzles, playing cards with her Mom, spending time with her grandchildren, the sunshine, and her dog, Daisy.

Veronica is survived by her daughters, Allyson Rose (C.J. Grant) of Butler and Ashlee (Chad) Hershberger of Chicora; and four grandchildren, Mason and Taylor Rose and Elliot and Brady Hershberger. She is survived by her long-time companion, Robert Hanold, with whom she lived with for the last 16 years. She is also survived by her loving mother, Helen Sankey, of West Sunbury; and two sisters, Sherri Moore of West Sunbury and Janice Morgain of Saxonburg, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Veronica was preceded in death by her father, two brothers and one sister.

MORROW A memorial visitation for Veronica Sue Morrow, who died Sunday, May 22, 2022, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.

Blessing services will be held at 7 p.m. with Father Sean Francis of St. Faustina Parish, officiating.
