GROVE CITY — The Grove City Area Historical Society and Museum, 111 College Ave., will host its second free Speaker Series event at 6:30 p.m. May 24.

Vinson F. Skibo will present “Preserving Cooper-Bessemer’s Rail History.”

Learn how recent events led to the preservation of two pieces of rail history from the Grove City Cooper-Bessemer facility, including the wheels from a 1924 steam locomotive tender and the factory’s 1956 35-ton General Electric diesel switcher.

Refreshments will follow.
