McElravy 100th birthday
Armeida Mae McElravy of Karns City will celebrate her 100th birthday with an open house from noon to 3 p.m. May 14 at the Karns City Church of God, 1510 Kittanning Pike.
The former Armeida Mae Cousins was born May 16, 1922, in Adian, Pa. She married the Rev. Charles R. McElravy in Cumberland, Md. He is deceased.
She is the mother of seven children, Shirley Ann Shepard of Karns City; Rick McElravy of Chicora; Regis McElravy of Karns City; Rudy McElravy of Karns City; Rodney McElravy of Karns City; and the late Randy McElravy and the late Robert McElravy.
She also has 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is the eldest member of the Church of God of Prophecy, which she has attended for more than 70 years.
