Timothy Parker
Timothy A. Parker, 68, of Cranberry Township, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born Jan. 3, 1954, in Washington, D.C., and was the son of the late David H. and Stella (Ambroziak) Parker Sr.
Tim married his wife, Carol, on May 18, 1974. He was a loving husband, incredible father, proud pappy to his grandson, Jace Timothy, and fabulous brother and a friend to many.
He retired in 2017 from the U.S. Postal Service, where he worked as a mail handler for over 40 years.
He was an active member of St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church in Cranberry Township.
Tim had a passion for cars. He enjoyed cruising around in his 1987 Corvette and going to every car show he could. He was a big Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed playing Fantasy Baseball. He loved playing cards and board games with his family and friends, while enjoying the occasional cold beer.
Tim is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol (Bilinski) Parker; his sons, Ryan (Amber) Parker of Bridgeville, and Kevin (Jessica) Parker of Charleston, S.C.; his grandson, Jace Timothy Parker; his brother, Mark Parker of Tarentum; and his sister, Linda Parker of Robinson Township.
In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his brother, David H. Parker Jr., and his sister, Rhonda Joslin.
PARKER — Relatives and friends of Timothy A. Parker, who died Tuesday, May 3, 2022, are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
Entombment will be in Holy Savior Cemetery, Gibsonia.
Arrangements are under the direction of CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME, Natrona Heights.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Tim may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
