Sentence Court
The following defendants were sentenced April 7 in Butler County Common Pleas Court by Judge Kelley Streib.
Kimberly M. Stabryla, 37, of Slippery Rock was sentenced to serve 12 to 60 months in prison, but will be paroled after three months to serve nine months of house arrest, pay fines totaling $3,500 and complete 150 hours of community service after pleading guilty to her third driving under the influence offense and a related drunk driving charge filed by state police following a Nov. 28, 2019, incident.
Heather Lynn Boyda, 32, of Natrona Heights, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct filed by Penn Township police following a June 16, 2020, incident. Her mother gave a victim impact statement, saying Boyda punched her in the head, scratched her and broke her glasses in a domestic dispute. Her mother said she has custody of her daughter’s two children. “I hope you give her what she deserves,” the victim said.
Jordan Delmar Camp, 23, of Canonsburg was sentenced to serve a total of 36 months of probation including 90 days of house arrest, pay fines totaling $525, undergo a mental health evaluation and complete domestic violence counseling after pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges of stalking and disorderly conduct filed by state police after he broke into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment on Feb. 19, 2019.
Defense attorney Joseph Horowitz said Camp moved to Washington County after the incident and has accepted responsibility for it. He called it case of “love gone awry.”
“I want to make it very clear to you this is not love gone awry,” Streib said. “What you did is not okay.”
Amber Lynn Walsh, 27, of Butler was sentenced to serve a total of 18 months of probation including 14 days of house arrest, pay $1,100 in fines and complete 40 hours of community service, litter pick-up and alcohol highway safety school after pleading guilty to charges of DUI and possession of a controlled substance filed by state police following an Aug. 17, 2021, incident.
Giuseppe Charles Hall, 30, of Ellwood City, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation including 105 days of house arrest, pay a $1,500 fine and complete 40 hours of community service and alcohol highway safety school after pleading guilty to his second DUI filed by Cranberry Township police following a June 27, 2021, incident.
Craig L. Gaiser, 62, of Chicora was sentenced to serve six months of probation, pay a $300 fine, and complete 40 hours of community service and alcohol highway safety school after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI filed by state police following a Dec. 18, 2021, incident.
Joseph Hunter Trautman, 30, of Portersville was sentenced to concurrently serve two 12-month terms of probation and pay $6,000 in restitution after pleading guilty to two counts of receiving stolen property in separate cases filed by state police in July and September 2020. In one case he was sentenced to serve nine to 18 months in prison, but given an immediate parole.
Dustin James Blinn, 39, of Butler was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of obstructing the administration of law filed by Butler City police following an Aug. 24, 2021, incident.
Ronald Ross Burns, 25, of Butler was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation and pay $300 in restitution after pleading guilty to a theft charge filed by Butler City police following a Feb. 3, 2020, incident.
Presten Robert Jeffery, 22, of Mobile, Ala., was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation and pay a $100 fine after pleading guilty to a charge of firearms not to be carried without a license filed by state police following a Sept. 4, 2021, incident.
David Lytle, 52, of Seven Fields, was sentenced to serve a total of 12 months of probation and pay fines totaling $150 after pleading no contest to misdemeanor charges of harassment and disorderly conduct filed by Evans City-Seven Fields Regional police following an Aug. 19, 2019, incident.
