Sydney Selker struck out 10 and allowed five hits in five innings Friday as Freeport’s softball team cruised to a 13-3 win at Indiana.

Natalie King homered for the Yellowjackets (2-1). Autumn Powell had three hits, including a double, and Abby DeJidas belted a pair of doubles.

Freeport begins section play Monday, hosting Highlands.
