Union girls stay alive
FOXBURG — Kennedy Vogle scored 13 points, including three treys, Tuesday night as the Union girls basketball team stayed alive in the District 9 Class 1A consolation round with a 37-34 victory over Clarion.
Dominika Logue added nine points for the Golden Damsels, who trailed by one point entering the fourth quarter. Union outscored Carion 14-10 in the final eight minutes.
Sandy Best paced Clarion with 16 points.
