Butler girls snap cold spell
After losing in five of its last six outings, Butler’s girls basketball team rebounded with a 54-35 win at North Hills Thursday night.
Up 22-19 at the halftime break, the Golden Tornado (8-6, 4-4) pulled away with a 10-0 third-quarter surge. Makenna Maier paced the team with 15 points, while Maisy Gibson and Justine Forbes also posted double digits.
