CLARION — East Brady graduate Chris Weibel is no longer head football coach at Clarion University.

The university announced the decision to “move in a new direction” after a careful evaluation of the football program.

Weibel, a former All-America quarterback at Clarion, was 21-55 in seven years as Golden Eagles' head coach. His lone winning season was a 7-4 slate in 2015.

Clarion was 0-10 last season.
