Butler’s junior high wrestling team took first place at Saturday’s dual-meet tournament at Seneca Valley.

The Golden Tornado went 5-0, defeating Mt. Pleasant (68-15), Quaker Valley (71-12), Canon-McMillan (76-6), Burrell (58-18) and North Allegheny (48-36).

Troy Ritson was a perfect 5-0 on the day with five pins. Santino Sloboda, Sutton Stoner, Leo Iarrapino and Leland Anderson also earned 5-0 records.

Other Butler wrestlers who had strong efforts include:

n Nick Savannah, Noah Ruby and Beau Burchett each went 4-1.

n Ryan Collins, Wyatt Perry and Ethan Deless all had 3-2 records.
