Raider boys in semifinal
Seneca Valley's boys soccer team advanced to Tuesday's PIAA Class 4A semifinal round with a 3-0 victory over Lower Merion Saturday in Mechanicsburg.
Max Marcotte gave the Raiders the lead with a goal in the 30th minute.
Nathan Prex and Joey Coon both scored in the second half for SV, the defending state champion.
Seneca Valley (20-0-1) will meet Peters Township (18-2-1), a 2-0 winner over Central Dauphin, in a semifinal Tuesday.
The Raiders defeated Peters, 3-1, in the WPIAL title game Nov. 6.
