Food bank asks for local feedback
The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank is calling on the community to help it continue its mission by completing a new survey.
This survey, which will be conducted until Friday, is the second part of a three-part effort to engage the community through the Stakeholder Engagement Initiative.
“We want to hear from anyone who supports the food bank's mission of feeding people in need and mobilizing the community to eliminate hunger,” said Erin Spangler, the initiative's project manager. “With your input, we can continue to strengthen our efforts to meet the needs of communities across southwestern Pennsylvania.”
When the pandemic hit, many people turned to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank for support. The nonprofit distributes food for more than 45 million meals annually across 11 counties, including Butler County.
