Gross 60th anniversary
Ted and Evie Gross of Greatbelt Road celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family picnic Sept. 18 at their son and daughter-in-law's home in Penn Township.
The former Evie McNamee and Ted Gross were married Sept. 22, 1961, in Resurrection Lutheran Church in West Deer Township.
They are the parents of Chris Gross and Ted Gross, both of Butler. They have three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Gross was a C.O. technician with Century Link Telephone Co. before he retired. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the American Legion Post 683.
Mrs. Gross is a homemaker. She belongs to the American Legion Post 683 Auxiliary and volunteered at various positions through the years in Jefferson Township and the local schools.
They both belong to St. Luke Lutheran Church in Hannahstown.
