Bill and Darla Gabriel

Bill and Darla Gabriel of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with future cruise to Alaska.

They were married Aug. 15, 1971.

They have one child, Bradley Gabriel, and one grandson, Landon.

Gabriel retired from newly constructed home sales after 32 years.

He is a 1962 graduate of John Harris High Sdhool in Harrisburg. He is also a Penn State graduate and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.Mrs. Gabriel graduated from Middleburg High School and from Shippensville Universit with a master's degree. She spent 35 years as an elementary school teacher, retiring from Chicora Elementary School after 24 years.The Gabriels love to golf, spening much of their time in Florida. They also love to travel.
