The Butler County Symphony Association's annual meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. June 29 at the symphony office, 259 S. Main St.

The meeting is open to association members.

All Butler County Symphony season ticket holders who made a contribution of $50 or more above the season ticket price are considered a member of the association.

The meeting agenda will include a recap of the 2020-2021 fiscal year and election of board members and officers for the 2021-2022 fiscal year. For more information, visit www.butlersymphony.org.

Alameda Waterpark will be open from 12:15-5 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and from 12:15-7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the summer.Admission is $6 per person, and children age 2 and under are free. Those with a seasonal pass will receive a 50% refund on their pass due to the limited hours.The hours for the water park changed this year due to insufficient staffing, according to a news release from the park. Due to the limited staff, Butler County Parks and Recreation will be unable to offer group and private swim lessons. Water aerobics will be on Wednesday nights only, and private and public pool parties will not be booked.Refunds are available for those who have already booked swim lessons.Parks and recreation is still looking for lifeguards, and interested applicants can apply at the Park Department at 184 Alameda Park Rd., Butler, PA 16001. Lifeguards start at $10 per hour, and have additional bonus opportunities.The incentives include certification fees, referrals, a complimentary family pool pass and more. This new incentive program was created in an effort to attract high school and college-age lifeguards, as well as retirees interested in working throughout the summer months.
