Yeager 50th anniversary

LeRoy and Carolyn Yeager of West Sunbury will mark their 50 years of marriage with a trip to Arizona and Nevada this month.

Yeager married the former Carolyn Zimmerman on Jan. 23, 1971, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Salem, Ohio.

They have four children, Kimberly Schultz of Butler, Rebecca Bremiller of West Sunbury, Lee Yeager of Butler, and Kevin Yeager of Cranberry Township.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Yeager worked at Rolling Ridge Farms in North Washington and ServiceStar in East Butler. He retired from J.K. Hydraulics in Penn Township.

He was a 4-H adviser for clubs in Ohio and Butler for 25 years. He is an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Butler where he serves on the Altar Guild.

Mrs. Yeager worked for Spang Magnetics in East Butler, eV Products, a division of II-VI of Saxonburg, and currently works as secretary/treasurer for Cherry Township where she has been employed for 22 years.

She is an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was known for 14 years as “The Cookie Lady” to her many faithful customers in the Butler area.
