Honoring our fallen

Knoch High School students in Brad Pflugh's history class gathered at Summit Presbyterian Church in Jefferson Township Thursday afternoon to place American flags on the graves of each and every veteran buried in the church cemetery. Pflugh and the students were joined by David Foley, South Butler County School District superintendent, and Fred Caesar of the Saxonburg Historical Society. Pflugh has carried out the project for several years in hopes of spurring the students' curiosity regarding those who served in the military in all U.S. wars.SEB FOLTZ/BUTLER EAGLE
