Butler Nutrition, 132 E. Jefferson St., offers a wide selection of beverages with a variety of benefits.

Owner Jenna Ross of Slippery Rock said she has 40 different types of teas loaded with vitamins and minerals and designed to boost metabolism, as well as 20 kinds of meal-replacement shakes.

Customers can buy teas and shakes made in the store or take the teas and shakes home.

“You can buy drinks here on a grab-and-go basis,” Ross said. “We don’t have seating right now, but we plan to add it in the future.”

Ross, a native of Ridgeway, said she was inspired to open her business because of a similar one in her hometown.

When she moved to Slippery Rock to pursue a degree in early childhood special education, she decided to open Butler Nutrition. She said the Jefferson Street location was perfect.

Store hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call 724-477-3102.
