A construction crew conducts culvert work for one of the bridges on Route 8, south of the Route 228 intersection near the county line on Tuesday. PennDOT announced in March that bridge work would begin March 29 in the southern part of Middlesex Township on Route 8 in the area of Denny Road. The project aims to replace three bridges, affecting about 1.5 miles of road. PennDOT anticipates the last bridge being completed by August 2022. In the meantime, traffic flow patterns are expected to change throughout the process.
