Motorists can expect traffic impacts on Freedom Road beginning Friday night and extending through Tuesday.

According to PennDOT, weekend road construction will affect traffic on Freedom Road between Haine School Road and Commonwealth Drive beginning 10 p.m. Friday, with daylight operations Saturday, Monday and Tuesday.

The work being completed is a continuation of the Freedom Road project. PennDOT says drivers can expect short-term traffic control during utility relocation, but much of the work will be on the shoulders of the road.
