Impressed by kindness
I’m writing to express my appreciation — long overdue — to the physicians and staff of Butler Memorial Hospital, the Crossroads Campus and the Benbrook facilities.
About this time last year, I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which ultimately required me to have surgery as well as to undergo chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
I have frequently been impressed by the mix of kindness and professionalism I’ve encountered, experiencing the display of genuine concern for which I am grateful.
In what has been the most challenging health difficulties — that are life-threatening — in my 64 years, I say a heartfelt “thank you” to all who have so graciously made things better.
Rev. Gary Warinner,
