Edward Charles Beck

Edward Charles Beck, 66, of Butler, formerly of Chicora passed away on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, while under the care of UPMC Shadyside Hospital.

Born June 8, 1954, in Butler, he was the son of the late John Beck and Frances Walker Beck.

He was employed as a production supervisor by Penreco for 29 years. He was then employed doing background investigations for USIS and CACI.

Ed's love of woodworking led him to start the Hosanna Wooden Carvings, from which he turned his hobby into a business.

No one ever had a bad word to say about him. Ed will be remembered as a very positive man and a good man. Ed will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered for his hugs.
