Kriberney

David Allen Kriberney, 71, of Butler, passed away Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born Aug. 10, 1954, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Louis Herbert and Elizabeth “Betty” (Pawlenok) Kriberney.

David was a member of Christ Community United Methodist Church, in Butler, where he and his family shared in their faith. He was a hardworking man who owned and operated his own business, Kriberney Construction. Woodworking was also a hobby of David’s, as he operated his own sawmill where he made custom furniture. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed his time in nature whether hunting, fishing or simply working on his landscaping. Above all, David loved spending his time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

David leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Mary “Beth” Kriberney; his children, Andrew (Tiffany) Kriberney, Eric (Terri) Kriberney and Joycee (Kurt) Miller; his grandchildren, Jake, Max, Mason, Ellie, Ruby, Josie, Eli, Calvin, Sadie, Cole and Silas; his brothers, Robert (Bonnie) Kriberney and Paul Kriberney; family friend, Lisa; several nieces; and his best friend, his dog, Willie.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to AHN Family Hospice for their wonderful care for David.

KRIBERNEY — Family and friends of David Allen Kriberney, who died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, will be received from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
