NC, Moniteau girls join district hoop title games
Four players scored in double figures for North Catholic as the Trojanettes reached the WPIAL Class 3A girls basketball championship game with a 57-36 win over Laurel Wednesday night.
Dacia Lewandowski and Alayna Rocco led North Catholic with 13 points. Ava Walker had 10 points and 12 rebounds, Tori Drevna 10 points.
North Catholic (18-2) will face second-seeded Mohawk, a 61-31 winner over Beaver Falls, in the title game Saturday.
