Union girls moving on

Logue scores 24 points in playoff victory

Dominika Logue scored 24 points — 14 in the pivotal second half — as the Union girls basketball team edged DuBois Central Catholic at home Tuesday night, 52-47, to advance in the District 9 Class A playoffs.

Logue scored seven key points in the fourth quarter, five from the free throw line to salt the game away.

Keira Croyle added 10 for the Damsels, who will travel to Otto-Eldred Thursday for a quarterfinal game at 7 p.m.
