Tornado girls earn road win
Maisy Gibson scored 13 points and the Butler girls basketball team wrapped up third place in the section with a 47-31 road win over Penn-Trafford Monday night.
Sarayne Forbes pitched in 12 points for the Golden Tornado (9-7, 8-4).
Butler will close out the regular season at Franklin Regional Wednesday.

Gracie Olshanski won the 50 freestyle with a time of 26.76 seconds and also swam legs on the winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams for Slippery Rock as the girls beat Sharon, 98-39, to finish 9-4 this season.Reagan Suorsa swam a District 10 qualifying time of 1 minute, 9.63 seconds to win the 100 butterfly.Natalie Double won the 100 back with a district-qualifying time of 1:06.90 and also swam her best time of the season in the 500 freestyle (6:00.81) to qualify for the district meet.On the boys side, Kevin Bowser swam a district qualifying time in the Rockets' 81-9 loss.
