KC girls move to 5-1 with win

Brooke Manuel scored 16 points and Emma Johns added 14 Monday night as the Karns City girls basketball team defeated Brookville, 47-26.

The Lady Gremlins improved to 5-1 on the season. They took a 25-11 lead into halftime and cruised from there.

Cooper Baxter won matches by technical fall and pinfall while Jake Pomykata won by pinfall and injury default Saturday as Butler split a pair of dual matches in the high school gym.The Golden Tornado defeated Beaver, 70-6, getting pins from Nick Schaukowitsch, Domenic Vivirito, Baxter and Pomykata.
