State lawmakers appointed
Lawmakers representing Butler County and the surrounding area were appointed as committee leaders for the new legislative session.
State Rep. Daryl Metcalfe, R-12th, will continue to lead the Environmental Resources and Energy Committee.
Rep. Jim Marshall, R-14th, will lead the Consumer Affairs Committee.
And Rep. Jeff Pyle, R-60th, will be chairman of the Liquor Control Committee.
