Butler County added 153 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus since Friday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

The additional cases brings Butler County’s total to 5,196 since the pandemic began.

The four COVID-19 deaths brings the county’s total to 146.

Statewide, total cases rose to 548,489 — an increase of 9,834 since Friday.

Nearly 3.2 million people have tested negative to date and 61 percent have recovered.

Pennsylvania has recorded 13,924 deaths from COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.
