Santa made a virtual visit to special education students at McQuistion Elementary School in the Butler Area School District on Dec. 11.

Santa also virtually visited other special education classrooms in the district and Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV early intervention classrooms.

Santa started his visit wearing a mask because he had just been spending time with the elves, but could then removed it since he was alone, students were told.

During the visit, Santa noticed a friend adjust his mask up over his nose and provided positive reinforcement as a result.Santa also shared the importance of hand washing and keeping distance from others during the COVID-19 pandemic.
