Two Seneca Valley High School seniors, Anne Castagnero and Andrew Drozynski, were named candidates in the competition for a Special Scholarship to be awarded through the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program.

A Special Scholarship is a corporate-sponsored award. To be considered for a Special Scholarship, students must meet the sponsor's criteria and the entry requirements for the National Merit Scholarship Program. They also must submit an entry form with the sponsor.

Anne's sponsor is The Kennametal Foundation and Andrew's is FedEx Ground Package System Inc.

These scholarships may either be renewable for four years of undergraduate study or one-time awards.

Anne and Andrew will submit their applications this month and will be notified if they are winners in March 2021.
