Martin, Dailey key KC victory

McKenna Martin scored four goals and added an assist while Emma Dailey tallied three goals and four assists in Karns City's 9-2 girls soccer victory over Clarion Monday.

Ally Fennell and Cece Morrow also scored for the Gremlins (2-0). Jill Morrow, Avah Burke and Addy Christie had assists. Alexis Coull and Evelyn Lerch scorerd for Clarion.

Karns City hosts DuBois at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Slippery Rock 8, Sharon 0 — Hillary Burtner and Emma Hays scored two goals each for the Rockets. Isabelle Willisson, Amanda Lewis, Eve Miller and Hannah Plunkard scored one each.Slippery Rock plays at Hickory Wednesday night.

Deer Lakes 6, Knoch 4 — Macrina Robb scored three goals in Knoch's season opener Monday.Megan Vasas also scored for the Knights, who travel to Armstrong Tuesday.
