Lance Cotton tossed a three-hitter — allowing only an unearned run in the fifth — to lead Saxonburg to a 3-1 Butler County Area Baseball League win over Karns City Thursday.

Eli Sutton had two singles and scored a run for Saxonburg. Isaac Roddy and Anthony Grafton added singles in the victory.

Gavin Phillips scored on a passed ball and Mitch Davies added a run for Saxonburg.

Gary Amsler, Logan Snell and Broc Weigle singled for Karns City. Braeden Rodgers walked and scored KC’s lone run in the fifth.
