Mars mayor open to more Breakneck information

MARS — Mayor Gregg Hartung told borough council Monday night that he's interested in learning more about future Breakneck Creek watershed projects.

“(We need) to sit down and talk about all the issues with Breakneck,” Hartung said.

Hartung said Evans City Mayor Dean Zinkhann told him that civil engineering firm Herbert, Rowland and Grubic was representing Butler County at Evans City's council meeting Monday night.

The concept of HRG's presentation was to provide members of council with information about three Breakneck projects, which cost an estimated $75,000, Hartung said. He added the county is looking to contribute to the watershed restoration through them.
