Armco Credit Union will host a free college planning workshop March 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Butler branch, 101 Hollywood Drive.

Credit union members and nonmembers are welcome, and high school seniors are encouraged to attend this free event with their parents.

Jillian Gajtak from Student Choice will cover the following topics: choosing a college; the real cost of attendance; how to decipher your award letter; scholarships, grants and financial aid; and comparing student loan options.

The event is free, but space is limited.
