Love on the Lake, a Valentine’s Day fundraising event urging patrons to show their love for the Moraine State Park, is planned for Feb. 14

The event, which includes dining and dance, will benefit the Moraine Preservation Fund.

Set at the Fieldstone at Armstrong Farms in Sarver, patrons will gather for cocktails at 6 p.m. including the event’s drink, the Firefly, and silent and raffle auctions.

Dinner, provided by John Marshall Catering, will be served at 7 p.m. with dancing planned from 8 to 11 p.m. with music provided by the Bob Riddle Trio.

Funds raised will support projects such as educational tours on the new Nautical Nature, future enhancements to the Owlet and year-round education programs at the park which is marking its 50th anniversary. Ensuring the vitality of Moraine State Park for generations to come has been the focus of Moraine Preservation Fund since the late 1980s.
