Brenda McGuire, a retention specialist at the Butler YMCA, took her turn riding the stationary bike to raise funds during Giving Tuesday. A YMCA spokeswoman said stationary bike riders were trying to raise awareness of the event. Peddlers paid $10 for a half hour's workout on the bicycle. The spokeswoman said Wednesday the YMCA raised $11,000 during Giving Tuesday.
