GROVE CITY — Grove City College has its annual Light Up Night at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on the campus quad.
President Paul J. McNulty, Interim Chaplain D. Dean Weaver and the Wolverine Marching band will lead the campus community as it ushers in the Christmas season with the traditional lighting of the star atop Rockwell Hall.
Students and the community are invited to gather at the patio of Mary Anderson Pew South residence hall for the ceremonial lighting, which includes refreshments, favorite Christmas hymns and the reading of J.M. Lowrie's “Star in the East.” The event is free.
PENN TWP — A Drive-Through Live Nativity will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 14 and 15 at Nixon United Methodist Church, 334 Airport Road.Seven scenes of the Christmas story will be portrayed by actors and live animals.
