The Handcrafted Christmas Craft Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 7 at the North Washington Social Hall, 2231 Onida Valley Road on Route 38, includes an auction, luncheon, bake sale and 35 vendors.

The craft show is a Friends of North Trails Public Library fundraiser, benefiting the library at 1553 W. Sunbury Road, West Sunbury.

EVANS CITY — St. John's United Church of Christ, 501 E. Main St., has its annual “Cookies from the Heart” sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until sold out, Dec. 7.There will be mixed cookie varieties. The church will have containers, or customers can bring their own containers. This year preordered cookie trays also will be offered.Orders can be placed by calling the church at 724-538-8124 (leave a message) and will be ready for pickup the day of the sale. A number of these trays also will be for sale on the day of the event.

BRADY TWP — Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road, is planning the Christmas Bird Count from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 14.The center will provide an indoor observation station for the Bartramian Audubon chapter’s annual Butler count.Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend this free, informal birding session any time during the morning. Pre-registration is not required.
