BRADY TWP — Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road, has the following programs scheduled:

- 2 p.m. Nov. 24, “Oawesome Opposum.” The center staff tells why the opposum is awesome;

- 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 8, “Nature Detectives: Map Mysteries.” Families are invited to become “nature detectives,” and uncover the mysteries of map reading and basic compass use.

Jennings' Nature Detectives programs are designed for families with children age 6 and older. Children should be accompanied by a parent or other adult. Pre-registration is required by Dec. 6 and space is limited. Register at http://events.dcnr.pa.gov or by calling 724-794-6011.

SARVER — Westminster Presbyterian Church, 210 Westminster Road, will have an all-you-can-eat Christmas buffet from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 8.For prices or to make reservations, call 724-352-1376.

The Butler Lions Club is taking orders for its annual winter soup sale. Three choices are available — chicken noodle, vegetable beef or wedding. The soup comes packed in freezer-ready containers.The Butler Lions Club is partnering with Kountry Katering in Renfrew to provide the soups.The order deadline is Friday with pickup scheduled for Dec. 3 at the Butler Blind Association, 322 N.
