SUGARCREEK TWP — The Sugarcreek Township Fire Department Auxiliary will sell “Cookies in a Jar.”

To place an order, call 724-526-3242 by Oct. 31 or see any auxiliary member.

Pickup will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Nov. 12 at the fire hall, 110 Rodgers Road, East Brady. There will be no deliveries.

CENTER TWP — Newhaven Court at Clearview will host its “Pasta with a Purpose” fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at the senior living community at 100 Newhaven Lane.All proceeds from the spaghetti dinner will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.“It’s important for all citizens to exercise their right to vote on Election Day,” said Gary Renwick, executive director of Newhaven Court at Clearview. “We encourage our team members to vote. We also want to make it easy for people to have a good meal.”The dinners will be served in the Community Room at Newhaven Court at Clearview. Takeout is available.Those who show their “I Voted” stickers will receive a $1 discount.Notices of local upcoming news should be received by the Community Department one week in advance of the event.
